The governor of Iran’s north-western East Azerbaijan province says 31 people have died there, including 30 military personnel and one member of the Iranian Red Crescent.

Iran and Israel launched missiles in a fresh wave of strikes on Saturday - with projectiles seen over Jerusalem, Haifa, and the West Bank.

Iranian state television, long controlled by hard-line supporters of the country’s theocracy, repeatedly aired footage of missile strikes on Tel Aviv throughout the morning.
