The Milwaukee Brewers have traded right-hander Aaron Civale and cash to the Chicago White Sox for first baseman Andrew Vaughn. The Brewers moved quickly after they announced they were removing Civale from their rotation.

Misiorowski left his major league debut when he slipped on the front part of the mound after holding the St. Louis Cardinals hitless through five innings Thursday night.

Civale's agent, Jack Toffey, made a formal trade request to Brewers general manager Matt Arnold on behalf of the veteran right-hander.
