The U.S. Coast Guard was searching for survivors Sunday after a Cessna 414 with six people on board crashed off Point Loma.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the U.S. Coast Guard received a report of the crash around 12:45 p.m. PDT and dispatched air and marine teams to an area about 3 miles west of San Diego’s Point Loma. They were joined by crews from Customs and Border Protection, San Diego Harbor Police, and the San Diego Lifeguard Service.

The six occupants included the pilot, his wife and a father with his three sons, according to a report from the Aviation Safety Network.

The Coast Guard said that a Cessna plane went down around 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, three miles west of Point Loma. They have three boats and a helicopter investigating.
