Yardbarker on MSNChicago Sky have a lot of problems and Angel Reese is a big oneThe WNBA season has not gone as expected for the Chicago Sky. There are a lot of reasons for that, but Angel Reese is a big one. Reese, the seventh pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, is a lightning rod. She's tried to compare her stardom to Caitlin Clark, yet the product on the court hasn't matched up.
The Sky are already in New York for Tuesday's marquee matchup. On Monday, Angel Reese took to Instagram to set the stage for the big game. She posted a black-and-white aesthetic photo from outside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which is the Liberty's home stadium.
The Liberty are one of the WNBA’s two remaining unbeatens. The defending champs are significantly better, but center Jonquel Jones is expected to miss this game. The reigning Finals MVP rolled her ankle in their most recent game and did not return, although the team announced she avoided significant injury.
