A passenger aboard a flight bound for Honolulu, Hawaii filmed the exact moment the pilot informed them about a tsunami warning, prompting eerie silence and palpable worry. The video posted Tuesday night on TikTok starts with the captain mid-sentence addressing the cabin full of passengers.

The woman captured the "eerie" siren sounds along the coast of Waikiki Beach warning Honolulu residents and visitors about the tsunami.

Tropical Storm Keli, meanwhile, was located about 795 miles southeast of Honolulu with maximum sustained winds near 40 mph and higher gusts. Keli was moving west at 15 mph and is expected to maintain that general motion over the next couple of days.

Hurricane Iona was expected to move westward and does not pose any land threat to the Hawaiian Islands, forecasters said.
