Episode 12 was exactly what viewers needed, because it was completely unexpected. Host and fellow crash-out queen, Ariana Madix, surprised the islanders with a recoupling controlled completely by fans. For the first time ever, fans were able to vote on who the bombshells would couple up with.

When "Love Island USA" opened up the voting to viewers, many fans were transparent online about breaking up Huda and Jeremiah, who have been locked in since the first episode and haven't explored connections outside of their couple. Huda had deemed her couple "the strongest" in the villa.

Love Island USA Season 7 premiered on June 3. Th reality show is hosted by Ariana Madix.
