In the mind of ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is trying to take advantage of star defensive end Micah Parsons.

The familiar decay in negotiations shared an underlying theme inside the agent community, with reps alleging that Jones had a history of attempting to manipulate players into discounted deals.

“I think Micah is doing great,” Cowboys co-owner Stephen Jones said. “It means a lot to him to be here with his teammates, hats off to him for that. We want him practicing soon. We rather have him out here practicing doing what he does best which is wreck a practice but hats off to him.” Parsons said contract talks are up to Jerry Jones.
