In a major upset, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was named the 2024 NFL MVP in a historically rare victory Thursday night.

Josh Allen beat Lamar Jackson in the playoffs, and the Bills quarterback once again bested his Ravens counterpart for the 2024 NFL MVP award.

This season's race never became quite that clear, despite Jackson putting up even stronger numbers than last season. Bills QB Josh Allen spent the second half of the year battling for MVP honors with Jackson, and Eagles RB Saquon Barkley even stated his case with a dominant 2,005-yard rushing season.
