The victory was improbable with the late deficit but bordered on the miraculous as LSU was without three front-court players: starting redshirt freshman Corey Chest, fifth-year senior Derek Fountain and freshman Trey’Dez Green.

LSU senior guard Cam Carter was dropping bucket after bucket playing and doing anything to get the Tigers back in the win column. He went on a 7-0 run by himself late as LSU beat Oklahoma 82-79. The win snapped a seven-game losing skid for LSU (13-12, 2-10 SEC). The Sooners (16-9, 3-9) suffered their fourth straight loss.

The Tigers hadn't won a game in more than a month and had just one SEC win, but overcame a 13-point lead and scored eight points in the final seconds to shock the Sooners.
