Mets reliever A.J. Minter has been placed on the 15-day injured list after straining his left triceps during a 2-0 win against the Nationals. New York replaced him on the roster by selecting the contract of right-hander José Ureña from Triple-A Syracuse.

A.J. Minter felt tightness in his left triceps a pitch or two before the one that forced him to depart the mound in Saturday’s eighth inning.
