No Kings protests are happening in Tennessee in response to President Donald Trump's military and birthday parade and speech.
Demonstrators are expected to gather at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as part of the national No Kings protest movement.
A man is facing charges after being arrested at the “No Kings” rally in Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park on Saturday, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.Elijah Millar, 19, was arrested after officers at the rally were flagged down at Jefferson Street and 7th Avenue North just before noon.
Across the country, relatively few disruptions were reported during protests and marches where the mood ranged from joyful to defiant.

There are at least 24 protests planned across the state of Tennessee, including several in Middle Tennessee from Clarksville to Pulaski to Murfreesboro and more. Organizers say they expect the largest rally to happen in Nashville.
