BOSTON, Mass. — Tempers flared during extra innings between the Yankees and Red Sox on Friday night, as manager Aaron Boone and infielder DJ LeMahieu were ejected following two close calls that went against New York in a 2-1 loss to their fiercest rivals.

This comes after Yankees manager Aaron Boone had admitted trainers had told him Chisholm was only available “in an emergency” for the series finale. Boone wouldn’t commit to Chisholm starting the opener at Fenway Park after Thursday night's game, seemingly a warning for this.
