Organizers have planned demonstrations in cities and towns across the country on the same day as President Trump’s parade in Washington to celebrate the Army.

The "No Kings Nationwide Day of Defiance" is planned to "reject corrupt, authoritarian politics in the United States," organizers say.

Atlanta’s 5,000-capacity “No Kings” rally quickly reached its limit, with thousands more demonstrators gathered outside barriers to hear speakers in front of the state Capitol. In Minnesota, organizers canceled demonstrations as police worked to track down a suspect in the shootings of two Democratic legislators and their spouses.

Thousands of anti-trump protesters are set to rally in "No Kings" protests across America, countering Trump's military parade and opposing his immigration policies.

At least 1,500 "No Kings" protests nationwide are planned Saturday on the same day President Donald Trump scheduled a large-scale military parade in Washington, D.C. on Flag Day and his 79th birthday.

The parade is expected to include about 6,600 soldiers, 50 helicopters and 60-ton M1 Abrams battle tanks, as well as possibly 200,000 attendees and heightened security to match.

The demonstrations are gaining additional fuel from protests flaring up over federal immigration enforcement raids.

The June 14 "No Kings" protests, organized by activist group Indivisible and its partners, are part of a "nationwide day of defiance," with events slated to occur across the country. Falling on Flag Day and Trump's birthday, the day of protest are intended to help counter Trump's planned Washington, D.C. military parade.

Anti-Trump protests are planned for Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, Gettysburg and thousands of other places throughout central Pennsylvania and the nation.

In the Greater Boston area, thousands of “No Kings” marches and rallies are taking place, part of major demonstrations planned across the country.
