After finally getting approval from the Federal Communications Commission, Skydance Media is just weeks away from completing its $8-billion merger with Paramount Global, leading to sweeping changes for some of the most iconic media brands.

Skydance on Thursday said in a letter to Senate democrats that it has fully complied with all laws, a response to questions raised by Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Ron Wyden about Paramount’s settlement with Trump and his claim that he will get additional ads for his causes.

Paramount Global posted second-quarter earnings that exceeded Wall Street estimates on Thursday as the company prepares for a sale to Skydance Media.
