Tornado safety FAQ
When a tornado hits, it's important to know how to stay safe.
On Saturday at 3:49 a.m. a tornado watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid between 3 a.m. and 10 a.m. in effect until 10 a.m. for Choctaw, Clarke, Washington and Wilcox counties.
On Saturday at 9:03 a.m. the National Weather Service released a tornado watch in effect until 1 p.m. for Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Lee, Macon, Pike and Russell counties.
