Tuesday was a dry day across Arizona, aside from a couple of showers near the New Mexico state line.
Phoenix saw another unseasonably warm day on Tuesday, with a high of 96 degrees. A pattern change will bring cooler temps to the Valley, with highs dropping into near-normal levels on Wednesday.
The highs remain well above average on Tuesday. Phoenix hit an afternoon high of 108. The current record is 109 and the average high is around 93 degrees.
