All but four of the passengers injured in Sunday’s deadly collision between an Air Canada plane and a fire truck at New York's LaGuardia Airport have been released from the hospital.

Two pilots were killed and dozens of people were injured at New York's LaGuardia Airport late Sunday night when an arriving Air Canada Express plane and a fire-and-rescue vehicle collided, authorities said.

New York’s LaGuardia Airport was closed on Sunday night following a collision between an Air Canada plane and a Port Authority vehicle. A spokesperson for the New York City Fire Department said that firefighters responded to reports of an incident on the runway at 11.
