The Las Vegas Raiders and Maxx Crosby are getting a do-over. In an incredibly rare occurrence, the Baltimore Ravens backed out of their agreed-upon trade for the superstar pass rusher before it could become official. The Raiders were due to send Baltimore a pair of first-round picks.

Give a (massive) golf clap to general manager John Spytek. The Las Vegas Raiders just became somewhat compelling. Free agency is upon the NFL, and it’s always a good sign when a team lands the No. 1 option on its wish list.

Physicals are part of the standard process for every trade, but everyone knew Crosby ended the season undergoing a torn meniscus repair — including the Ravens — so it was unlikely he would have been able to pass a physical in the month of March anyway.
