We’re through two weeks of the N.J. football season and it has been entertaining in North Jersey thus far. There has been great theater in the Super Football Conference with down to the wire games, epic highlights from some of the league’s best players and teams and coaches breaking through with signature wins.

Ithaca earned its first Tri-Valley Conference Blue boys soccer win of the season, knocking off Nouvel Catholic Central, 3-1, Monday. Carson Hardman, Jaren Paradise and Rayland Perez scored goals for the Yellowjackets, who are 1-1-1 in the league and 3-3-1 overall. Wylie Martyn, Blade Hardman and Brady Paradise notched assists.
