A Brockton man who survived the Station nightclub fire 23 years ago to the day wants to make sure those who were lost are never forgotten.

On Feb. 20, 2003, a fire ripped through The Station in West Warwick, Rhode Island, leaving 100 people dead and more than 200 people injured.

In the years following the Station nightclub fire, a group of family members and friends of several victims of the tragedy have bonded.

The Station was purchased by Michael A. and Jeffrey A. Derderian in 2000. In 2003, it was the scene of tragedy that would haunt Rhode Island forever.
