Joining many other retailers and businesses, Walmart will be closed on Thanksgiving Day in 2025. According to a Walmart spokesperson, stores will close at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 and won’t reopen again until Friday, Nov. 28 at 6 a.m. local time.

Thousands of camping stoves sold at Walmart are being recalled over concerns of the products exploding and catching fire, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Walmart is recalling more than 200,000 camp stoves that can explode or catch fire, causing a burn risk to users. The recall references Ozark Trail Tabletop 1-Burner Butane Camping Stoves sold between March 2023 and October 2025, priced between $8 and $45. The stoves were sold by Walmart online and in stores.
