NYC subway service was disrupted Thursday in Manhattan after a power outage near the West Fourth Street-Washington Square station, the MTA says.

A power outage to signal equipment near three Manhattan stations fully or partially suspended multiple subway lines beginning Tuesday morning, causing a cascade of delays across the system, MTA officials said. The agency says it expects service to return to normal by the evening rush.
