Universal Destinations & Experiences recently revealed several themed areas that will be featured at Universal Kids Resort, a new family-focused theme park set to open next year in Texas.

Visitors to the Universal Kids Resort under construction in Frisco will be able to stomp around in Shrek’s swamp, go boating with SpongeBob SquarePants, or take a cat nap with Puss in Boots.

Universal Destinations & Experiences has unveiled the franchises it will utilize at the upcoming Universal Kids Resort in Texas. Universal Orlando fans will feel some familiar vibes as the mini-theme park’s lands will showcase environments based on Minions, Shrek, Puss in Boots, Trolls, Gabby’s Dollhouse, SpongeBob SquarePants and Jurassic World.

Kids and families visiting Universal Kids Resort in Frisco can dance with Trolls, splash around with Minions, or relax on the beach with SpongeBob Squarepants, according to details of the new park released Friday.
