The Buffalo Bills have agreed to a four-year extension with receiver Khalil Shakir, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Tuesday. The extension is worth up to $60.2 million and includes $32 million guaranteed when the deal is signed.
While meeting with reporters at the 2025 NFL scouting combine, executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent announced that starting next season, the league will be using "Hawk-Eye" virtual measurement technology for the line to gain on first downs, and that the system will serve as the primary method of measurement.
The league has attempted to gauge whether any QBs receive preferential treatment from officials, with some interesting results.
