President Donald Trump endorsed Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) for re-election in a Truth Social post. Cotton announced his plans for re-election to the U.S. Senate in February, stating that it has been "an honor to serve Arkansans."

Grant Tennille, chairman of the Arkansas Democrat party, will be stepping down in July after nearly four years in the position, with a new chairman to be elected within 60 days.
