On Sunday, the No. 12 Tigers survived their semiannual rock fight with Texas in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center and won 70-65, picking up one of the biggest regular-season wins of the Mulkey era.

With the victory, LSU picked up its second-straight SEC win and improved its record to 16-2 overall and 2-2 in league play. With the loss, Texas was handed its first loss of the season, dropping to 18-1 on the year and 3-1 in the SEC.

Mikaylah Williams scored 20 points, capped by her 3 as the shot clock expired with 1:20 to go in the game, and No. 12 LSU handed second-ranked Texas its first loss this season, 70-65.
