On Sunday, Cleveland Browns pass-rusher Myles Garrett broke the NFL's single-season sack record, a record that had only been tied once since Michael Strahan set the mark at 22.5 sacks in 2001.

Myles Garrett made NFL history, and in the process may have solidified his case as the greatest pass rusher of his era. The Cleveland Browns ' perennial All-Pro broke the single-season sack record previously shared by Pittsburgh Steelers ' veteran T.J. Watt and Hall of Famer Michael Strahan.

The New York Jets ended the season by becoming the first team to lose five straight games by at least 23 points and to not record an interception during the season.

The Broncos weren't able to break the NFL's single-season sack record in 2025, but they did set a new franchise record.

The NFL closed the regular season with an average audience of 18.7 million per game across TV and digital, the league's second-highest mark since Nielsen began tracking in 1988 and just shy of the 1989 record of 19.

But one NFL Hall of Famer doesn't see it that way. Former Minnesota Vikings star Jared Allen believes his name should sit beside Garrett's in the record books. In the months leading up to Allen's induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2025, the four-time All-Pro was adamant that the NFL took away his 23rd sack during the 2011 season.

For the second time this season, Cam Little has made NFL history. The Jaguars kicker hit a 67-yard field goal against the Titans on Sunday, which set the NFL record for longest outdoor field goal. The kick comes just two months after Little set the overall NFL record with a 68-yard field goal back in Week 9 against the Raiders.
