NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A district court judge has resentenced Danette Colbert to 25 years following a trial that occurred in 2024, in which she was sentenced for computer fraud and theft.
Danette Colbert, 48, had previously been given a suspended sentence by an Orleans Parish judge last year after being convicted of theft and fraud charges.
Danette Colbert, 48, was arrested on February 7 after Telemundo reporter Adam Manzano, 27, was found dead in New Orleans hotel room. Colbert had accompanied the reporter to his room the night before.
