A 15-foot reticulated python caused panic in a Garland neighborhood by trapping a man on top of his truck before animal control officers safely captured it.

A 15-foot python that was slithering through a Texas neighborhood has been safely captured by animal control after a dramatic encounter that was caught on video. According to the City of Garland, the large snake had been “circling a neighborhood yard” in early June and even trapped a resident on top of his truck.
