On Thursday, ESPN's Ramona Shelburne gave an update on when the decision will be made. According to the NBA insider, major decisions related to Antetokounmpo's future in Milwaukee might stall until later into the offseason.

However, prior to that, the Bucks had an interest in trading for another star in the form of Jimmy Butler. That deal would’ve involved Middleton, but according to former Bucks fan favorite John Henson, Giannis Antetokounmpo shut down those trade talks.

According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, Antetokounmpo was "excited" about the Bucks signing Turner to a four-year deal, although she didn't know if Antetokounmpo was aware that move meant the organization was cutting ties with Lillard. Chris Haynes added Tuesday that Antetokounmpo was unhappy with Milwaukee's decision.
