Justin Brownlee helped Gilas down Saudi Arabia and book a spot in the quarterfinals where they will face Australia.

Justin Brownlee’s game-saving performance against Saudi Arabia was nothing out of the ordinary for Gilas Pilipinas head coach Tim Cone, who has watched the naturalized forward hit many clutch shots in his career.

Brownlee also towed the Philippines back in the come-from-behind win over China in the 2023 Asian Games. He hit several massive 3-pointers in that game, which effectively set the path for Gilas to win its first men’s basketball gold medal in 61 years.
