McDonald’s is closing nearly half of its CosMc’s spin-off restaurants less than a year after they began serving customers, but the chain says it remains committed to the concept. The company is closing three locations, the largest CosMc’s it has opened, but says it plans to open two smaller stores in Texas this year.

Three locations of McDonald’s spinoff CosMc’s are slated to close. The fast-food giant also said it was adding two more in Texas this year.
