Data at the North St. Paul Police Department may have been compromised as a result of a cyberattack. City Manager Brian Frandle said the following in a memo for an emergency City Council meeting that took place on Monday afternoon:

The City of St. Paul is carrying out city business with pen and paper in the wake of a major cyberattack. In an update Monday, the city said the July 25 breach is still impacting internal and online services – including those utilized by the Department of Safety and Inspections.
