The Suns started their off-season by firing first-year coach Mike Budenholzer. It's the first step in what could be a dramatic remodeling of the club.

"Multiple teams will seriously pursue Durant, who finished another stellar season, and the franchise is expected to work with Durant and his business partner and Boardroom CEO Rich Kleiman on the next landing spot for the future Hall of Famer."

ESPN insiders Brian Windhorst and Shams Charania have both reported on rumors that name the Rockets as one of the front-runners to deal for Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant in the coming months, as Durant is all but a lock to be on the move entering the final year of his contract.

The Phoenix Suns are just the latest, and most extreme, in a long line of examples, and it’s left them in a position where moving the franchise’s all-time leading scorer is about the only card left to play.

The Phoenix Suns may not want to trade Devin Booker, but dealing him may be the only path out of the trouble they find themselves in. Bleacher Report writer Andy Bailey believes Booker could be on the block this offseason.
