Auburn Tigers head coach Hugh Freeze was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in February. Doctors discovered that the disease was in an early stage before the Tigers released a statement, saying that Freeze is expected to make a full recovery. He will still coach while battling the disease.

Hugh Freeze hit the ground running as Auburn opens fall camp even as the Tigers' coach takes the field knowing he will likely need surgery for prostate cancer.

"I feel as good for this camp as I probably have in years," Freeze said, per al.com. "I don't think anything about the health right now -- whether that's right, wrong or indifferent. I talk to docs -- I had three of them text me yesterday.
