Garett Craig, a dual nurse-engineer at Duquesne University, wants to take the model mainstream to make it easier for biotech to align with the real-world needs of hospital staff.

The founders lean into its University City identity and are planning even more expansion to build community in the scene.

Plans call for the incubator, which attracts founders from around the world, to remain in the city. Some programming will move to a hybrid model.
