Perhaps of some interest to the Indianapolis Colts, the Cincinnati Bengals have reportedly released linebacker Germaine Pratt.

In the wake of a youth movement with Golden's arrival, the Bengals drafted Demetrius Knight in the second round and Barrett Carter in the fourth, plus added Oren Burks and Joe Giles-Harris in free agency to rebuild the unit around Logan Wilson. The Bengals save roughly $5.8 million in cap space with Pratt's release.

The Cincinnati Bengals will release veteran linebacker and team captain Germaine Pratt, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports, ahead of what would have been his seventh season with the franchise. The stalwart defender was a centerpiece of the Bengals defense since the start of his professional career in 2019 and last season ranked among the league's top 10 tacklers with his 143 stops.
