Winter weather is causing travel restrictions in northwest Pennsylvania, according to PennDOT.

ERIE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The Erie County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday it is seeking assistance in locating three wanted men. The three men are wanted for failure to comply with their duties to register as sex offenders. The men are Brenton Mays-Petrey, Eric Gamble and Tyson Kennedy.

Erie County has been awarded nearly $3 million in state funds to help with traffic flow and safety along one of the county’s busiest roads. Funding will be going to the City of Erie, Millcreek, for intersections along West 12th Street and Wesleyville Borough for one of their busiest intersections.

Nine more COVID-19 deaths were reported last week among Erie County residents, increasing the total to 23 deaths reported from Nov. 8-Dec. 8.

Erie County Executive Brenton Davis said he successfully vetoed a tax hike in 2026. But council's solicitor says Davis lacks the authority.
