Murray State's College World Series run came to an end vs Arkansas. Arkansas pitcher Gage Wood tossed a no-hitter to eliminate Murray State baseball.

Murray State was the biggest storyline of the NCAA tournament, but their Cinderella run came to end thanks to a legendary no-hitter from the Hogs.

The Arkansas season is still alive thanks to the junior righty’s dominance.  Wood needed 119 pitches as he set career-highs in strikeouts and innings to extend the Hogs time in Omaha. He overpowered the Racers’ hitters with a fastball that lived between 96 and 97 mph,
