A federal judge in California has barred Border Patrol agents from arresting someone suspected of living in the U.S.

Charges have been filed against a man following a fatal shooting at a Kansas City liquor store Monday evening.

A judge approved the motion requested by an attorney representing Joseph Lapsley during a hearing on April 29.
