National Night Out strengthens bonds between Sacramento community and law enforcement through engaging events.

Nearly 3,000 people are expected to celebrate National Night Out in Natomas, which is one of the biggest celebrations in the region.

National Night Out brought neighbors across the Sacramento region together Tuesday through multiple events created to promote police-community partnerships.

Financing for the nearly $1B teaching hospital planned for North Natomas is nearly complete, said officials at the Elk Grove-based university.
