The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will skip the traditional captains' meet and photoshoot due to logistical issues. With matches spread across four venues in two countries, teams will arrive just before the competition.

In a break from tradition, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that there will be no official captains' meet or photoshoot ahead of the 2025 Champions Trophy, which will be hosted in Pakistan.

The BCCI will not have to worry about sending Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma to Pakistan as the PCB has reportedly decided to cancel the captains’ event and official photoshoot for Champions Trophy 2025 due to logistical challenges.

The final ceremony will be held in Lahore on February 16, attended by former cricketers and ICC officials. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has already met with PM Shahbaz Sharif to finalize the arrangements.

A top official from International Cricket Council has resigned just weeks before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 gets underway in Pakistan and Dubai.

The ICC announced ticket sales for the Pakistan leg of the Champions Trophy despite ongoing stadium renovations. The tournament is set for February 19 across Pakistan and Dubai. The PCB dismissed concerns about delays.

The ICC said that the ticket sales for the Pakistan leg of next month's Champions Trophy will begin from Tuesday despite the stadium renovation work in the host nation is yet to be completed.
