NBC announced on Wednesday that Mike Tirico will work as the lead play-by-play announcer for the network's NBA coverage, which begins next season.

Mike Tirico has been named the lead play-by-play broadcaster for NBC's coverage of the NBA starting with the 2025-2026 season.

Tirico will call select games on NBC and Peacock the first half of the season, including the season opener in October.
