Homeowners are one step closer to property tax relief with Governor Greg Abbott set to sign two bills after lawmakers approved $22.7 billion in property tax cuts this session.

"Never before has the Texas Legislature allocated more funds to provide property tax relief than they did this session," Abbott said in a press release after legislative approval.
