Ryman Auditorium (originally Union Gospel Tabernacle and renamed Grand Ole Opry House for a period) is a historic 2,362-seat live-performance venue and museum located at 116 Rep. John Lewis Way North, in the downtown core of Nashville, Tennessee, United States.

On June 5, 1943 the Opry moved to its most famous former home, Ryman Auditorium, where it stayed for the next 31 years. The formative years of the Opry were spent on the Ryman stage. The music made on those well-worn planks changed music history, and Nashville, forever.

The Ryman Auditorium is the most famous former home of the Grand Ole Opry (1943-1974), and the Opry show returns to the historic building a few times throughout the year for Opry Country Classics and Opry at the Ryman. The Ryman is also host to numerous concerts and events throughout the year.
