At the start of the year, a group from year 6 heard the call for poppies to be made for the pier and crocheted a selection of poppies and chains. They continued making poppies after handing these in and sold them to members of the school community. Today, they were able to go to the pier and see the final exhibition with over 110,000 poppies from all over the world! Despite the miserable weather, they remained positive as they walked the mile and a third out to sea, trying to spot their poppies
