This year, visitors during Wapakoneta’s Summer Moon Festival have the opportunity to fly in a 1928 Ford Tri-Motor airplane, the same kind of aircraft a young Neil Armstrong had his first airplane ride in! Flights will be on Sat, July 19 from 9 AM - 5 PM, and Sun, July 20 from 9 AM- 3:30 PM. Tickets are $99 for adults, $75 for children 3-17, and free for those 2 & under.
