2020 marks the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, when the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy defended the UK against attacks from Germany's Air Force in WW2. On 15 September 1940 the battle reached its climax. The RAF shot down 56 invading German aircraft, ultimately convincing Germany that they could not achieve air supremecy over Britain. 80 years on we are remembering the contribution of all British, Commonwealth and Allied Forces, without whom victory wouldn't have been possible. | Roya
